HOHNER ESSENTIAL SERIES GUITARS
Hohner, Inc. has launched its new Essential Series of acoustic guitars, built with a technique Hohner calls “frequency matching,” a form of tap tuning used to determine the resonant frequencies of the wood and match the solid spruce tops with similarly resonant mahogany backs and sides. Hohner has also equipped each Essential model with the Earvana Compensated Tuning System, a special nut and bridge that Hohner claims “assures that these guitars play with perfect intonation, up and down the length of the neck.” The Essential Series includes parlor, folk, dreadnought, classical, and acoustic-electric mini-jumbo models. hohnerusa.com
