Yamaha Corporation of America is now shipping the new Audiogram 3 and Audiogram 6 computer recording systems. Powerful, yet affordable, these USB audio interfaces are designed to turn a computer into an intuitive tool for recording. The compact Audiogram 3 ($149.99) features one phantom-powered combo input (switchable for microphones or instrument recording), a stereo input, and stereo and headphone outputs. BEHRINGER E1220A AND E1520A PA SPEAKERS
Behringer has introduced two new active PA speakers. The E1220A ($339) comes loaded with a 12-inch woofer, while the E1520A ($409.99) features a 15-inch woofer. Both models are rated at 400 watts and come equipped with pro specs, including balanced XLR inputs, two band EQ, balanced through output, onboard signal processing, and heavy-duty vinyl covering.
